What we keep, what we don't.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you order, subscribe, or submit a critique. We use it to deliver what you bought, and (only if you opt in) to send the weekly letter.
• The image you submit for a critique. We hold it long enough to render the critique card and a short window after, then delete it (see "How long we keep things" below).
• The text context you optionally write for your critique submission. Same retention as the image.
• Order details for billing — what you bought, the address. We do not see or store your card details.
• Anonymous traffic statistics via a privacy-respecting analytics tool. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.

What we don't collect

• Your card information. Ever. Stripe handles checkout; their record is the only one.
• Your IP address, beyond the hour or two of edge logging Cloudflare retains for abuse prevention.
• Your browsing on other sites. We have no third-party trackers.
• Your name, age, gender, location, or any data you don't actively give us.

How long we keep things

• Your submitted critique image: 30 days, then deleted.
• Your rendered critique PDF: kept indefinitely so you can re-download it. Delete on request.
• Your order history: kept while the LLC operates, for tax and dispute records.
• Your newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe (one click, no questions).

Who we share with

The minimum infrastructure providers required to run the business:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email (your critique deliveries, order confirmations)
• Cloudflare — site hosting, DNS, edge protection
• Beehiiv — newsletter delivery (only if you subscribe to the Letter)
• Anthropic — the model that drafts your critique reads your image and context, then returns text. Anthropic does not retain submissions for training when called via API in this way.

We do not sell your data. We do not share with advertisers. We never license your submitted work, your voice, or any data we hold to anyone for AI training. Not now, not in a future "policy update," not as part of a hypothetical acquisition. The Operating Agreement (Article IV, §4.4) makes this binding on the company itself.

Your rights

Whether or not you live somewhere with a privacy law (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you can ask us to:

• Show you everything we have about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete it all
• Export it in a machine-readable format

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you are a parent and believe we have, write to privacy@stylebydesign.ai and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we'll email everyone on the customer list and post a banner on the homepage. The "last updated" date above is the date of record.
